[Q2/3 2025] Sharing Site - Key Feature Request Bundle
Planned Release: Q3 2025
Purpose: To provide much requested features to the sharing site in advance of summer 2025 so districts can determine whether the features meet needs for SY 2025-26.
Features:
Features still in design phase. Notable requests being considered include: - Customizable background (ability to upload images to site to replace the white background). Design must determine how to ensure that uploaded backgrounds will meet ADA accessibility requirements and what limitations and controls can be put on the new feature.
- Language translation widget: Browsers include the ability to machine auto-translate any website now. To make this more obvious and accessible, request is to add a widget to the site to easily switch languages.
- Menu Item Pictures: Ability to display the picture that has been uploaded to the menu item on the site. Design must consider which tab or tabs will display the picture and how to accommodate on site. - Provide Rich Text Editor for Menu Item Description (Item Setup), Header Title and Body (Sharing Settings)
